How we can help...

If you would like help from Escape all you need to do is call our confidential helpline now on 07702 833944 and we can organise an appointment for an initial assessment, this would be carried out by one of our staff who would then offer you advice, support and access to our wide range of services tailoring them to your individual needs.

Clients accessing Escape take advantage of the wide range of services offered, these include:

One-to-one support: Our workers and volunteers can offer you a range of support, working with you to make informed choices. The service is FREE, non-judgemental, confidential and is aimed to meet your needs.

counselling: Our counsellors are qualified and take a person centered approach.

Drop-in: Advice, support, information and advocacy.

Therapies: We offer a wide range of therapies to enable relaxation, ease withdrawal and build self esteem.

Complementary therapies: The benefits of some complimentary therapies are widely accepted as having enormous positive effects when dealing with addiction and promoting good health. These include:

Auricular Acupuncture : Performed on the ear using fine acupuncture needles placed in the five ear detox points.

Reiki : Healing by channeling energy into the body.

Indian Head Massage: A treatment involving massage to the upper back, neck, shoulders, scalp and face. Very relaxing and stimulating.

Thought Field Therapy : Works rather like acupuncture but without the needles by stimulating the body’s energy meridians.

Aromatherapy : A therapy using essential oils such as lavender and bergamot.

Reflexology : A therapy that stimulates the reflex areas of the foot.

Massage and Relaxation Techniques : Massage has a beneficial effect on both the body and the mind, soothing, relaxing and releasing tension, generally promoting good health.

Hopi Ear Candles : An ancient Native American Indian therapy that promotes an overall feeling of relaxation and is particularly useful to migraine sufferers.

Diversionary Activities: Gym, badminton, group work, art projects etc.
